MM RELIC BASS TO GO

Your wish is our command!

We're building a Hot Wire MM Bass Relic for our customer, following the proven 1979 specs, complete with 'Heavy Aging.' Our customer has already found a bass in our inventory with a neck that he particularly likes. So, we're taking measurements from that neck to customize the width and thickness for his tailored bass.

He wants a lightweight instrument, so Swamp Ash is the only choice for the body. We couldn't find anything lightweight in Germany, but we sourced a perfect piece of Swamp Ash from a wood dealer in Spain. We crafted it into a one-piece body and finished with nitrocellulose lacquer. The whole thing then gets the aging treatment.

The neck is made from rock maple with a vintage tint finish. The back of the neck is reliced to his liking. Hipshot Ultralite tuners are our top choice, along with the matching bridge from Göldo. The MM pickup is custom-wound for us by Bassculture, and the EAST MMSR 3B 4K electronics complete the perfect package for this bass.
