Single Cut Long

The request was for a five string bass with full range, compact for airplane travel and cruise ship gigging.

Make it loud

All elements of the Single Cut Long Ramp were discussed and thought through together with the customer on site. So a long scale headless with neck-thru was created, with slightly narrower 17 mm string spacing and 26 frets.

The three-strip neck is made of sapeli-maple-sapeli. The fingerboard is made of ebony, the body wings are khaya mahogany. The body features a matte finish. There are no cites-protected woods used, which is an argument today at border crossings.

An ebony ramp goes all the way from the bridge to the neck end, and a Hotwire W-Bucker (by Bassculture) is integrated into the bridge position. A rotary knob switches the positions serial-parallel-single coil for subtile sound changes. Noll Threeband electronics with passive function control bass, mids and treble. The battery can be replaced quickly from the back.

The ETS headless mechanism keeps the strings in tune. This is your perfect travel companion without compromise!
