The Force
The Hot Wire Force Bass is a Prezz with two soapbar pickups and active tone controls. A lot is possible on this basis. Choose the body wood, the finish, the neck shape, the electronics, even the position of the controls. The first Hot Wire Force was made in 2005, and it just keeps going and going.
A customer sent me a photo of a bass we had built in 2007. It was now at the university in Hamburg, and he wanted one just like it! No problem, I had played this bass at various gigs and still remembered it well. So we rebuilt the bass down to the last screw. I even had a neck from the same year - we used that, of course. Before the Force went on its journey to Hamburg, I recorded this video:
Our customer Andy had seen the above video and spontanously called me to tell me he wanted one. So we set out to make a replica of the replica we made, the Force from 2007… He wanted passive electronics and an XXL scale. So we did that, and he sent us this video:
